A brief history . . .
Located within the heart of the Pocono Mts. is a newly created self-storage facility know as Additional Storage in the Gap.
Additional Storage in the Gap was started in 2001 when the current owners decided to build three self-storage buildings that would house a total of 142 self-storage units.
The facility since then has expanded in a number of ways. Over the last five years four more self-storage buildings have been added to the facility.
This expansion has allowed us to almost triple the amount of units that were originally built on the property.
Because of our expansion it allows you, our customer a wide variety of storage units to choose from.
We now feature both Climate Control and Traditional Storage units based on your individual needs.
Currently we offer over 350 self storage units of which 105 feature climate control.
Our unit mix not only includes both traditional and climate control units in a total of
seven different sizes but an outside storage area for the storage of RV, Boats and Trailers.
Our outside storage area has also been expanded in order to allow us to become one of the largest providers of recreational space in the area.
We can now store up to 90 RV, Boats, and Trailers at this location.
All outside parking spaces are at least 11 feet wide in order to provide you with an extra level of comfort
when picking up or dropping off your recreational vehicles. Additional amenities for those who choose to store with us
include an on site dump station, wash area, security cameras and valet parking.
Because of our expansion in this area it now affords us the opportunity to offer the
Contractor a secure location for the storage of his commercial vehicles, trailers and construction equipment.
Other improvements include the renovation of our retail center in the hopes of making your move a little easier.
The center offers packing supplies (boxes, tape, mattress covers, dust covers, marking pens, rope, bubble wrap, dish packs, ect.)
just to mention a few items that you might need to keep your valuables valuable. Along with snacks and cool drinks for those much
needed breaks during the loading and unloading process of your goods within the storage facility.
Convenience would be the catchword that is most often used by the customers that store with us.

With EZ access to I-80 and Route 611, our facility is located directly across from the Martz Bus
Terminal on Route 611 North in Delaware Water Gap.
Feature benefits include access to your unit 24 hours a day through the use of an automated gate/key code and individual door alarm system.
Our wide/paved aisles allow for maximum ease and movement during the loading and unloading process.
All of our storage units are at ground level so there are no stairs or elevators to contend with.
Extensive lighting throughout the facility helps to insure safe retrieval of your goods during nighttime visits.
Our resident manager provides a 24 hour presence along with a management team that will be there when you need us. (office opens daily) |
